We will start with pickup at your hotel in the La Fortuna area at the beginning of the tour.
Then, we will make a transfer to the local farm, which will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes from downtown La Fortuna, depending on the location of the farm. .
You will enjoy a guided tour of the coffee plantation, where the stages of the coffee process will be explained: cultivation, harvesting, drying, roasting, and grinding. You will have the opportunity to observe the coffee plants and learn about local agricultural techniques.
Next, there will be a demonstration of the chocolate making process, from the cacao pod to the final product. The history of cacao and its cultural importance will be shared, and you will have the possibility to participate in the making, such as grinding cacao, among other activities.
Finally, you will enjoy a tasting of different types of coffee and chocolate, including freshly made coffee and artisanal chocolate.
Finally, we will make the transfer back to your hotel.
