
Let's go underground! Venado cave is out of the ordinary, is not only a cave but an underground river that has been shaping the rock in this area for thousands of years. We will follow this river through different passages and underground rooms or chambers to discover the Venado Caves.

Pickup from your hotel in the La Fortuna area. The exact time will be coordinated based on your hotel's location, generally between 7:00 and 7:30 am.
Transfer by air-conditioned van to Venado Caves. The journey offers views of the region's rural landscape.
Arrival at the caves. Bilingual naturalist guides (English/Spanish) will provide a safety briefing and explain exploration techniques. Necessary equipment is provided: helmet, flashlight, and mask.
Guided exploration of the caves, walking through narrow passages, observing rock formations (stalactites, stalagmites), underground rivers, marine fossils, and wildlife adapted to the darkness (bats, spiders, blind fish).
Transfer back to your hotel in La Fortuna.
