Itinerary

  1. Departure — Hotel pickup

    Pickup at your La Fortuna hotel. Drive to the canopy park takes 15 to 25 minutes.

  2. Briefing and gear-up

    Safety briefing in English or Spanish, harness and helmet fitting, and a practice run on a short training cable.

  3. Cables 1 to 4 — Warm-up lines

    Four shorter cables ranging 100 to 300 meters to build confidence and adjust technique.

  4. Cables 5 to 7 — Waterfall sections

    Three longer cables crossing two natural waterfalls and over canopy gaps with panoramic rainforest views.

  5. Cable 8 — The big line

    The finale: an approximately 800-meter line at high speed across the largest canyon section of the course.

  6. Refreshment and return

    Drink at the base, then transport back to your hotel.

Yes. The guides handle the brake themselves on every line so guests only need to glide and enjoy the view. The first three cables are short and intentionally designed for first-timers to build confidence.

Yes: 65 lbs (30 kg) minimum, 250 lbs (113 kg) maximum. Weight outside this range affects how the trolley travels along the cable and is not safe.

Yes, as long as they meet the 65 lb (30 kg) minimum. Most children over age 7 love the ziplines. Children under 65 lb can ride tandem with a guide on request.

Slightly. Two of the cables pass close to waterfall mist and you will feel cool spray. Bring a small dry bag if you want to keep electronics fully dry.
